Sundarban and Tapovan

complete the story Sundarban and Tapovan were two neighbouring jungles. The inmates of both these jungles lived together in peace. They would hardly ever quarrel. Except for Foxy Fox, who had made his home in Tapovan a few months ago. He would pick up a fight with the animals of Sundarban at the slightest pretext.
Every summer, the lakes and rivers of Sundarban used to dry up and as there was water available in Tapovan, the animals from Sundarban would migrate there. They would return to Sundarban when summer was over.
Once the rabbits of Sundarban were migrating to Tapovan, when the leader found that his group had reduced in number. He voiced his concern to the older rabbits. All were worried.


What could have happened? What did the rabbits to do to solve their problem?

Some were trapped in the net. So they got a plan. They went to sunderban and said there was a goat trapped in the well. The fox heard it and thought that it was better to eat a goat than a rabbit . so it went to the well and jumped into it. That was the end of the FOXY FOX.

Foxy fox did not like the sunderban rabbits migrating to his forest and as he liked eating rabbits,he couldn't stop himself from eating few. When the rabbit chief found it ,he was very angry. He complained about it to the King of the forest,The Lion. Foxy fox was sent out of the forest and he never came back.

When Foxy fox saw the animals of sunderban animals,he was tempted to eat them. So the rabbits were reduced in number.The chief rabbit thus told the other rabbits to be careful of Foxy fox .

Foxy fox came to know that the rabbits were migrating to tapovan. He thought that the rabbits would be perfect meal for him. When the rabbits were on their way to tapovan, foxy fox started taking the rabbits away one by one. The leader got a doubt and he asked everyone to search for the missing rabbits. They realised that more number of rabbits were missing. One of the rabbit saw foxy fox putting the rabbits in a cage. When he started running to tell this to their leader, foxy fox started chasing him. But the rabbit reached their leader and told him who the culprit was. The rabbits were freed and foxy fox was banished from entering the forest. Thereafter everyone in sunderban lived happily.

I think Foxy must have eaten the missing rabbits.

The cruel fox could have made a meal of the rabbits when the leader was careless. However the clever rabbits together discussed how to find the culprit. They announced a new place of stay for whoever finds the culprit. The foolish and greedy fox thought that the place would be better and gladly accepted that he was the culprit. The rabbits and the other animals of the Tapovan together put him in prison, the new place of stay!

One of the rabbits told the leader it must be the Foxy fox,who made his home in Tapovan a few months ago. The leader told his group it might be the Foxy Fox who loved a meal of rabbits but could not catch the rabbits of Tapovan. The leaders asked the others to hatch a plan that will make the Foxy Fox never,ever like or eat or chase another rabbit. One of the elder rabbits suggested covering a dead bat with a piece of rabbit fur.All agreed.They found a dead bat and one of the rabbit sheared off a bit of his fur in order for the plan to work. They covered the dead bat with the rabbit fur and layed it on some flat grass,looking to the world like a baby rabbit. Poor Foxy fox,he pounced on the dead bat and bit on extremely disgusting piece of meat and munched on it. He soon realised he had bit some meat with a flavour he did not like. He yowled like anything and sweared he would never ,ever eat a rabbit again. And the rabbits lived happily ever after!

Foxy fox went to his den and saw a bunch of rabbits. Then he ate all of them.

They thought that the foxy fox had eaten the rabbits. They marched to his den where he was sleeping. No bones, no meat, nothing on the floor. The truth was that the rabbits were lost!!!! Sher, the tiger came across the rabbits. They didn't notice him at first as they were busy gossiping about how to get out. Then suddenly foxy came out of the bush (he woke up after the rabbits had gone) and saw sher. He cried,"Dear sher. I am dying of hunger, please feed me." Sher replied,"Poor foxy! If you will come here I will feed you. The rabbits did not notice the fox and the tiger. Sher whispered "Kill those rabbits!!' Foxy agreed. He pounced on them and killed them. Sher and foxy had a great feast. The other rabbits never found this out and it remained a mystery. But sher and foxy were chuckling away in the dense part of Sunderban!

Rohan

Some of the rabbits were jealous of the leader and lost their way. Thus foxy ate them. Moral: Don't be jealous.
