One Scary Night

Manu was lying on the bed, when suddenly he felt a shadow across the window. He went near the window to see who it was. But did not find anyone there. He thought that it his brother who was trying to scare him. So he went outside the house to look for him but all he found was an empty garden! Just as he was about to go inside the house when suddenly he saw the shadow again. He looked up and saw something similar to a big balloon. It was moving towards the forest which was near his house. Manu thought that it would be very exciting to find out what the thing exactly was. So he went to the garage, took out his cycle and rushed towards the forest.
When he reached the forest he could not see anything clearly because it was very dark. Luckily he had a torch. He switched on the torch and went further deep inside the forest. After some time, he saw a light coming from behind a tree. He quickly hid behind the bushes nearby.
Manu saw that the balloon like thing was actually a spacecraft. He was not able to see much as it had very powerful lights on all the sides. Few minutes later, the door opened and something came out of it. Manu got scared. Without looking behind, he took his cycle and fled towards his house. When Manu reached home he went to his parents' room to tell them what was going on but they were not there. He wondered were they had gone. Then he went to his brother's room but unfortunately he was also not there! Now Manu was worried.

When manu was sleeping his parents and brother went to his room, woke him up and said "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!"

The aliens started to take off their masks when someone started to call his name. It sounded like his mother. He opened his eyes to find himself sleeping in his bed. It was all a nightmare.

At that scary moment manu wakes up horrified to see that he was in a theater with his parents and his brother. He had dozed off in the middle of the movie. He was happy that his parents and his brother were near him. But now that he was awake he wanted to see the rest of his dream rather than a dull boring film, so he closed his eyes again and was again taken to the place of dreams.

Before Manu saw the shadow, it was his brother who saw it and did exactly what Manu did.But he informed his parents. His parents also went there and saw the space craft.his brother took a ball along which went inside the space craft and the creatures inside came to know about their presence.So they invited his brother and his parents inside the space craft to help them.But when Manu's family went inside, his little brother insisted one of them to show them how they fly. So they took off the spacecraft high up in the sky. But his parents realised that Manu has been left at home all alone. So they requested them to take them to the place from where they had come. So it was then that Manu saw the spacecraft. But they were coming to take Manu along when Manu ran away from the particular place.Realising that he was all alone Manu got scared and started crying. But soon his family came along with one of the astronauts to tke him to the space craft.By finding his family and seeing the astronaut Manu became Happy.

They had been taken into a room in the spaceship and had been turned into monsters.Manu went into the spaceship and saw his parents and brother looking like ghastly monsters! Suddenly he saw the enchantor and hid behind a wall. There he saw a gun sort of thing. He came to know that it was a laser to convert people into monsters.There was a reverse gear that when you pressed it the enchantor would himself turn into a monster. Manu aimed at the enchantor and...POOF!There stood a monster. Manu killed it and took the spell book and made his parents and brother alright and escaped home. Manu's parents were very proud of him. There was an article in the next day's newspaper saying 10 Year Old Boy Saves Parents And Brother!!!

He went out again only to find , to his utmost amazement,a small creature crawling , sort of , near the house. He approached the creature, with much fear and apprehensions. It seemed to be a figure of a child, - and with small ear-like outgrowths on the head towards the center. As Manu approached him bravely, he picked up a stick from the ground, just in case....And suddenly he pounced on the creature who took a step aside. Manu fell on the ground with a thud - and suddenly woke up from the dream. He felt sort of relieved to have gotten over with the dream - and was much amused too.

"Am I dreaming?" Manu thought, as he entered his bedroom. Then he heard whispers. Fear of the unknown gripped him. Just as he entered the dining room, the clock struck 12:00am and all the lights switched on, and in a chorus he heard "Happy Birthday!!" Manu had almost forgotten about it. But there were more important matters. "Mother! I saw a spacecraft outside! You've got to do"......"That's your birthday gift Manu. We made it for you," his father said. (He was a scientist). "We were just checking it. Seeing you I came out but you rushed away!" Manu stared. Then he ran, hugged them & said, "Thank you."

His brothers and parents had also copied him but traped by the alien from mars. When Manu thought about it, he quietly moved towards the space ship's stairs, opened the door and saved his brothers and parents.

After soaking completely he put out the sponge from the pot put his mouth closer to sponge and squeezed it. So he drank it full and flew away.

Manu thought that the strangers from the space craft trapped his family members. He went to the garden again and was shocked. The space craft was not there. He searched for it everywhere. He could not find his neighbours too. He became tired, and took rest under a tree. Suddenly he heard the sound of a door knock followed by the voice of his mother. He was shocked. He opened his eyes and realized that everything he saw was in the dream. The day before, his teacher had taken the class about space craft and UFO's(unidentified flying objects) in the class, and he was thinking about it before he went to bed. That was the reason for his dream. So, before we go to sleep it is better to do meditation for few minutes and we will feel relaxed.

Then he just closed his eyes and prayed to the almighty and said " oh! Suddenly he felt a loud sound to his bad luck or good luck you say he was dreaming and had fallen to see that all what he experienced was just a dream, he also saw his family standing and laughing at his funny dreamy act.

Manu heard the aliens peering at his window like a shadow.So,now he understood! The aliens were on the verge of kidnapping him too! But Manu could not be fooled easily.Can you,Manu?
