The King and the Jester

complete the story Long ago the Kingdom of Mewa was ruled by Raja Anandachandra. He was very generous and was liked by his subjects. Along with the other ministers in his court, he had a jester named Laxman.
One day the king was presented with an ornate mirror.
When he looked into it and saw how old he had become he burst into tears.
All his courtiers including Laxman started crying in sympathy.
This went on for some time and then the king abruptly stopped crying.
His courtiers too stopped but Laxman went on sobbing.
"Why are you crying so much?" asked the king, annoyed.
