The Caged Bird

complete the story Once the king of Anandpur was crossing a forest, when he heard a bird sing. The song was so beautiful that he wanted to take the bird to his palace and listen to it singing anytime he wished.
He ordered his soldiers to catch the bird alive without hurting it.
The soldiers caught the bird with great difficulty.
The king put the bird in a golden cage and placed it in his room.
Then onwards the moment the king entered the room, the bird would start singing to please him.
The bird thought that the king would release it after a few days but that never happened.
One day a crow came near the cage and asked the bird,
"Are you happy?"
"No, I want to return to my home in the forest where I live," said the bird.
"Then do one thing," said the crow and whispered something in the bird's ears and flew away.

What did the crow whisper? Was the bird able to escape?

HERE ARE THE STORY ENDINGS FROM OUR VALUABLE VIEWERS.

SARAB

"Oh dear bird, don't fear. I have got an idea. When the king comes, don't sing. He will get angry and tell to leave because you did not sing. Since, the king likes you he will not kill you." When the king came, the bird did the same what the crow had told her. The king thought that he will find a better bird than this. Why to kill the bird who at least sang for him for many days. So,he ordered,"Leave this bird.she isn't of any use." Now the bird was free. She thanked the crow for helping her. Both of them became friends and lived happily.

Ashraf

The crow told the bird to act dead and when he opens the cage to peck his hand and fly out of the window. So the bird did it and the bird was free. But the bird realised that his family was gone and when he saw the castle window he saw his parents and he cried.

aishwarya

The crow said,"When the king comes out from the palace with his attendants and passes by the window near which you are, I will come to you and whisper something. Whatever I say if it is good news you must jump for joy and tell the news to the king and plead for permission to go out of the cage. If it is bad news, you tell the king that someone in your family is ill. As he is kind-hearted, he will let you go. Do as I tell or else for forever you will be stuck up in this cage.' The bird agreed. The next evening the king passed by his window while taking a stroll with his favorite attendant. The crow came and whispered something in the presence of the king. The bird started to wail and told the king that someone in his family was ill and the king let him go. The bird flew away to the forest and never came out again when a human was in the forest. Moral: Never show off your abilities or you may be caught and may not be lucky to escape.

sahil
