Appu gets Hungry

complete the story Appu, the elephant was walking through the town when he came upon a tree laden with nice ripe bananas. He was very hungry but he remembered his mother's advice that he must not touch anything that is not his own unless it is given to him. But the bananas were so tempting that Appu's mouth started watering. He thought to himself, "There are so many bananas in this bunch, nobody will notice if I pluck one teeny-weeny one."
Appu looked around to see if anyone was watching and proceeded to pluck a banana. Now as he went near the tree he noticed a boy sitting against the tree. Appu was disappointed. Now how could he pluck the banana without the boy catching him! But he was very hungry and he had to have a banana. How about making the boy give him a banana? But why would the boy give him one? Then Appu hit upon a plan.

Did Appu get to eat the banana?

HERE ARE THE STORY ENDINGS FROM OUR VALUABLE VIEWERS.

Isabelle

Appu walked up to the boy who was staring at the ground. Appu then asked the boy how he was. The boy answered he was fine. For a few minutes, Appu and the boy were talking about each other's lives, when the boy suddenly saw a large snake slithering towards them, and was heading towards the bananas! Appu saw the snake and pounded his feet on the evil snake, and killed it. The boy was very impressed and offered half of the bunch of bananas to Appu. Appu accepted eagerly and then waltzed off smiling to himself...

Appu coughed quietly so he wouldn't frighten the boy. The boy turned around, slightly startled to see an elephant, but friendly nevertheless. Appu smiled at the boy who smiled back with sad eyes. Appu asked the boy what was the matter and the boy told him that his mother was ill and he was trying to sell his bananas, but no-one in the village would buy them from him, and he had no way of getting to the next village. Appu felt guilty that he had been about to take a banana and immediately offered to take the boy to the next village. The people in the village fell in love with Appu because they had never seen a friendly elephant before. The boy was proud of Appu and his eyes were smiling again because he had sold his bananas. The people saw how hungry Appu was and took pity on him. Together they gathered a huge pile of bananas, coconuts, mangoes and all sorts of other food elephants like to eat and presented it to Appu who was so grateful that tears formed in his eyes. He realised that it is much better to help someone in need rather than to take what is not yours, because it is much better to give than recieve. He was so grateful that he only ate some of the food and when he left the village, he took the food and the boy back to the boys house. The boy's mother was so very grateful to the elephant that she asked Appu to live with them and Appu accepted her offer and never went hungry for the rest of his days.

Appu quietly took out his alien contact equipment from his trunk and made contact with the Martians. The Martians immediately responded to his request and set off in their timespace machine and appeared before Appu. Appu asked for them to freeze the space time coordinates so that he could take the banana without the boy noticing it. The Martian said that he would return the favour only if Appu would teach him how Veerappan had such a wonderful hairstyle. Appu agreed and got his banana. Well ...what Appu told him is totally another story.
