Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata

1839 – 1904

Sir Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata was verily the Father of Industrial India. The whole field of industry, technology and science came within his ambit. With an unparalleled pioneering spirit, he conceived the giant Tata industrial complex. Unlike most men who only know how to make money, Tata knew how to use it too. He declined knighthood from the British Government. An admirer of Swami Vivekananda, he was one of those who financed the "Cyclonic Swamiji's" activities.

Whenever I look for an ideal I see Sir Jamsetji Nusserwanji the right person because of his foresightedness for Indian Industries and immense talent he had. Whenever I kneel down in front of God I wish I want to become like Sir Jamsetji Nusserwanji and create a name in the Indian history.
