There is a curious legend associated with a skull kept in Bettiscombe Manor in Dorset, England. According to the legend if ever the skull is removed form the house, it will scream and the perosn who removes it will die within the year!
The skull has been in the possession of the Pinney family for generations. The present occupants of Bettiscombe Manor say the skull was found in a shrine at the back of the manor and brought into the house as a goodluck charm somewhere around 1690.
Forsenic experts who have examined the skull say it belongs to a girl and is about 2000 years old.
