The Sands of some beaches and deserts in the world have a strange property. They seem to sing when somebody walks over them! Singing sands have mystified people for centuries and scientists have never been able to explain why or how it happens.
Besides musical sounds, sand at some places 'chirps' or 'whispers' or 'roars'. The sand of the beach at Kauai in the Hawaiian Islands makes a barking sound when people walk.
