The Flowery Broach

Things Required
A sheet of thick cardpaper, any strong glue, pumpkin seeds, peppercorns, yellow paint, a pencil, a pair of scissors, a small piece of thread and a safety pin.
Method
1. First cut out two round circles, measuring 2.5cm from the cardpaper sheet. Make two tiny holes on one circle. Pass a string through the holes and form a small loop on one side. Knot the string on the other side. Stick the two circles together taking care that the knotted portion is between them.
2. Next stick pumpkin seeds , with their pointed sides facing up all over one side of the circle, except at the centre. Glue the centre with peppercorns.
3. Paint the pumpkin seeds yellow to resemble the petals of a flower.
4. When the seeds have dried insert a safety pin through the loop at the back.
