Kill A Bug With A Bug!

Priobotics will soon give antibiotics the boot! The latter do get rid of harmful bacteria but knock off good ones as well. When 'friendly' intestinal bacteria are eliminated, the mucosa lining the intestine becomes permeable. Harmful pathogens now easily enter the blood stream and infect the heart, lungs and kidneys. The substitute, priobotics, gives super powers to good bacteria to tackle the bad bacteria!
The priobotic drink has a bug. One that resides in the human gut. Lactobacillus plantarum 299V. These stick to the mucosa in the intestine and help to remove the toxic bacteria. This healthy drink has helped to cure intestinal problems, post operative problems, abdominal bloating, stomach pain and even liver problems. Even healthy people can have it. For the healthy are healthy because they have abundant lactobacillus plantarum 299V!
LESS OUCH, MORE AHHHHHH!
Remember those horrible injections? How you quaked at the thought of a friendly visit to your local doc for your flu shot? A time may come when you could get your shot by just putting on a small patch of microneedles. Each will have a diameter one hundredth of the human hair! 400 will be on the baby aspirin sized patch. Behind will be a microprocessor and a tiny pump with the drug.
All you have to do is to press the patch onto your skin. The required amount of the drug will be pumped into your body and into the blood stream. Could perhaps be able to give the correct dosage of insulin to diabetics. Research is still going on. The problem is making microneedles that don't break! But ahead lies the exciting possibility of getting your flu shot without tears and any OOOH or OUCH!
