MICHAEL JACKSON

Michael Joseph Jackson was born on 29th August 1958, in the city of Gary in the Indiana state of United States. The seventh child of the Jackson family he made his debut in 1968 as the member of the Jacksons and began his solo career in 1971. His 1982 albums – ‘Thriller’ remains the best selling album of all times with four others – off the wall(1979), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and History (1995). He popularized several physically complicated dance moves like robot and moonwalk.
On 25th June 2009, Michael Jackson died at the age of 50 in Los Angeles suffering a cardiac arrest. His memorial service was broadcasted live around the globe and watched by nearly 1 billion people.
