CHILDREN'S CONTRIBUTIONS

JOKES

By Sabarish Gopalakrishnan (VI C)

1. Parent: Why do you think it is not good enough for my son to remain in this school?
Principal: Because your son flunks every subject.
Parent: I still think he's a good boy. He may be flunking, but atleast it shows he isn't cheating.

2. "Darling, eat spinach. It will put colour in your cheeks."
"But, mom, who wants green cheeks?"

3.After watching several new scouts attempting to cook outdoors, I asked "How are you managing boys? Have you forgotten any essential equipment?"
"Yes" replied one boy, "MY MOTHER".

4. Neighbour: What's your daughter going to be when she graduates?
Mother: An old lady

5. Father: How did Jimmy do in his history test?
Mother: Oh, not at all well, but then, it wasn't his fault. Why, they asked him things that happened before the poor boy was born.

6. An absent-minded professor at home answered the door.
"Do you come here often?"
"I am your wife STUPID"

7.Mother: I sent my little boy for 1 kg of plums and you gave 800 gms only.
Fruit-Seller: My scales are all right, madam. Have you weighed your little boy?

8. "Didn't you promise me to be a good boy?"
"yes father"
"And didn't I promise you a thrashing if you weren't?"
"Yes father, but I 've broken my promise, do you need to keep yours"?
