CHILDREN'S CONTRIBUTIONS
Long ago, everywhere I could see were trees
All I could breathe was fresh air
But now I stand on barren land
Thinking of the lush green
I am surrounded by tall, high buildings
Lost in huge clouds of smoke there is no place to play
No clean water to drink
No oxygen to breathe,
There is simply NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING,
I stand in this unreal world
Wondering what I really benefited,
And the answer once again came NOTHING.
I can’t enjoy rain as I used to earlier,
The blooms of flowers is lost forever,
Let’s do something before it’s too late,
Or else even regretting will be a WASTE.
