Pitter-patter, darts of water!
Coming heavenly monsoon shower.
Oceans through the clouds arrive,
On the plains and uphill drive.
Up above the clouds are roaring,
Moving, dancing, heavily pouring,
Drenching pastures, heath and fields.
Magic over crops it wields.
The earth is now a verdant green;
Dust laden trees perfectly clean.
Pools and puddles, slush and mire,
For more and more the frogs aspire.
Wind is cool and free of dust;
Welcome, welcome, pleasant gust!
Children capering all around,
Upon the roofs and on the ground.
Declared my school a holiday:
What a day, guys, what a day!
