There is something bright in the sky,
Which sometimes gets hidden when clouds come by,
And as we enjoy its warmth and shine,
We play in the fields—oh so fine!
As it sets behind the hills,
I see; in the horizon, a farm and its mill
Then I say goodbye to the lovely daylight,
And welcome the moon with her clear starry night.
And as the day dawns, we see,
The fresh green meadows covered with trees
And the sun peeps out from behind a cloud,
Shining on us, bright and proud.
