There was a day
When I was happy and gay.
But now I am busy
And a man very choosy.
This made me sad
And people say I am mad.
I looked in folders and files
Searching for a beautiful smile.
I roamed here and there
In anger I said “who cares” .
One day my friend cracked a joke
And I lost that heavy load.
Then I wondered,
Why I cried.
There were smiles and laughter in my life.
Though life is full of strife.
Here comes the day
When again I am happy and gay.
