It was raining today
From school I got a holiday
Oh! What a choc-a-block
I can’t reach until 9.00 clock.
Traffic is moving at a snail pace
My father can’t reach his workplace.
As it was raining cats and dogs
It damaged farmers crops.
I wore a raincoat with hood
And avoided contaminated food.
Everyone started shivering
When it stopped pouring.
Ohh! From now school I'll have to go
I hope this day doesn’t come any more.
