POEM
The First day of my school

The first day of my school,
when I really became a fool,
everyone asked me my name,
I felt I was in the midst of fame.
I didn't know to whom to tell,
And I didn't make a spell.
I went to my teacher,
who I thought was my future
And told her my name,
she asked me "why me why my child",
In a voice so mild.
And I didn't know what to answer,
my legs shivered like a dancer.
I stood as a fool, on the first day of my school.

M.Durga Nandhini,
