The Ocean

How beautiful the ocean is
The joyful breeze it gives
Cools our feet and wets the sand
In which sand castles we make...
Oh, how beautiful the ocean is!

The waves of lovely blue and green
Are like curly hair the mermaids preen
Colourful fishes dart about
And flashes of silver are swimming trout...
Oh, how beautiful the ocean is!

Any colourful coral reef
Is a jewel compared to any leaf
The golden sand on the ocean bed
Is better than treasure about anyone has read...
Oh, how beautiful the ocean is!
