One fine day
I went to play
Downstairs with my ball.
I met my friends
And we had fun
That's when my ball
Rolled into the drain!
We tried to retrieve it
But we didn't want to get
Our clothes dirty.
I went home and cried.
Suddenly I heard a woof
From behind the door.
I opened it and saw my dog
Scamper over there
He had brought my ball back
I was so glad that
I had a clever dog
And hugged him tight
And gave him his favourite treat
Lavanya Chillara
