CHILDREN'S CONTRIBUTIONS

FLOWERS

By Yogita Kuchankar (5 D)

The wind was blowing,
The flowers were blooming,
And my face was glowing.
There were lotuses, white and pink,
But none of them were about to sink.
Sweet fragrance was given by them,
Like sweet smelling powders filled in a pen.
And especially by the roses there,
Giving my life to them, I dare,
They will be cared by me, I swear.
The white ones looked like curd,
And I looked, My word!
‘The nature’s so sweet’
I heard them say aloud,
Thereafter with them I had a meet.
