With
Exclamation Marks!!

The sun glares, the lights dazzle
Blinding, harsh illumination all around
Yet there is a tranquil twilight!

The noises deafen , the horses blare
A cacophony of raised voices all around
Yet there is a hushed silence!

The words fail, the speech falters
Dumbstruck, speechless objects all around
Yet there is a gentle voice!
The barbs pierce, the firing hirts
Accusations, violence, vengeance all around
Yet there is an unspoken understanding!
Yes, I can cast aside the tears and fears
Yes, I can throw away the shackles
Yes, I can rejoice for I am blessed!
I am blessed for I can still see the darkness
I am blessed for I can still speak my mind
I am blessed for I am still ME!
