A very dark night
I went off to see some light.
There were huge clouds of rain
And the smoke of running train.
The wind was blowing hard
So I went in the yard.
The sun was shining bright in the noon,
But now there was no shine of moon!
I heard some fearful sound
Which came from the ground.
I feared there were some ghosts
Which came from the ground.
I feared there were some ghosts
Which frightened me most
There were howls of dogs
And croaks of frogs
The stars were not bright
I often remember how fearful and dark it
Was that night.
