STORIES
The lion’s birthday party

Once upon a time, the king of the jungle-lion wanted to celebrate his birthday. He told his minister Jackal to invite everybody for his birthday party. The jackal invited everybody to the lion’s party. Lots of animals wanted to do something on the stage. So everybody practiced hard for doing dance, drama etc. The animals of other jungle wanted to stop the party, so they made a plan amongst themselves. The lion of the jungle who wanted to celebrate his birthday gave all the work to the monkey like lightning, making stage, arrange chairs etc. The animals of other jungle gave this work to wolf and bear. When the party begun, the bear and wolf switched off the light and nobody in the party knew how it happened. The lion told everybody to sit quietly on the stage. Then the beautiful dance of tortoises began carrying candles on their shell. The monkey was shocked how it happened. The police elephant and tiger checked how it happened. After sometime the elephant and tiger switched on the light. When they checked who had done it, they caught the bear and the wolf. The police took them to the lion. The lion said ‘today is my birthday so I am leaving you but you have tried to stop my party, so you should be punished’. The lion told the bear and wolf that you will never try to stop anybody’s party. If you will stop them my ministers will kill you. After the punishment the lion allowed them to join the party.
