There was a careless girl,
She had a pearl.
In her dream,
she ate a bowl of cream.
The pearl was in her hand,
stuck on her band
Then she went to play
along the way.
Her pearl was lost,
A thousand it cost.
she did not notice,
nor did her miss.
When she became a bride,
A lot she cried.
She got up from her sleep,
After that dream she never lost a thing.
from a key to a ring.
And then became a sensible girl,
Who had a pearl.
