We were ruled by the British,
But we did not sit like puppets,
We fought for our rights,
We did not care about life,
We cared about the Country,
We were all brave,
And baulked the British out of our
Country,
We always loved India,
We pray to all those who sacrificed
Their life for our Country,
Out history is full of great people
Such as, Gandhiji, Lala Lajpatrai, Jawaharlal Nehru,
Bhagat Singh, Subhas Chandra Bose,
We lift our collar and say India is
Great,
We are proud of our Country,
It is rich in Diversity,
Religious beliefs all over,
But still we live in Unity,
Each State follows a different language, tradition and culture,
But still we live together with Unity
And what can we say,
“INDIA IS GREAT”.
