It is caused due to wastage of electronic material. When electronic items like computer, air conditioner, television, etc. is discarded,it is either burnt or it is simply thrown in a dump yard.
If they are burnt it causes air pollution and it also destroys the ozone layer. When they are thrown in dump yards, after a few years the harmful chemicals are released out of the electronic devices, these chemicals help in polluting the soil and atmosphere. It is rather harmful
when it rains as these chemicals are carried under the earth's surface and the underground water also gets polluted. And if these electronics are recycled then while recycling they cause harm to human life as they cause different types of heart and lungs diseases. To protect our environment from it's hazards we should use better and improved methods of recycling these electronics.
