Should children be given pocket money or not?
Started on 1-Aug-2003 By sneharamesh
SHAGUN
I don't think that we need any Sneha. We have our parents always with us to buy the things we need.
FARAH
Well yes, our parents do buy us all the things that we want, but getting pocket money is good. We can buy anything that we want from the school canteen, or anywhere else too, and can buy the other things that we want. Its kind of fun!
RAMYA
I think giving pocket money to us will develop our attitude for saving for something useful rather than spending the money carelessly. In that way we will learn to live with contentment in future years.
ANUPAMA
Well, Sneha, I agree with Shagun
SWAPNA
I do agree with Unnati.

Dimdima is the Sanskrit word for ‘drumbeat’. In olden days, victory in battle was heralded by the beat of drums or any important news to be conveyed to the people used to be accompanied with drumbeats.
