Around the world, animals are used to test pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. They are used in large numbers and treated with cruelty. The results obtained on animal testing are not always correct as the animals used are in not their normal state. In the case of cosmetics, animal testing should be banned strictly as we are not short of shampoos or face creams. In the case of pharmaceuticals animal testing should be reduced. Even animals have as much right as humans to live.

Dimdima is the Sanskrit word for ‘drumbeat’. In olden days, victory in battle was heralded by the beat of drums or any important news to be conveyed to the people used to be accompanied with drumbeats.
