TEACHER

She is the guiding soul in our lives
She is the eternal glow in our lives
She is a generous, a pious preacher
Yes, she is my teacher

Doctors, scholars and artists,
Societies essentially need them
But professors, educationists and teachers
Even the doctors cannot do without them

Right from a kid, she teaches us
The science, essence and beauties of life
Good values and hard work she preaches to us
To be or not to be, she teaches us

Once, twice, thrice, she is ready the fourth time
But till her ward is through, she doesn't proceed into

Remember friends, old and young, as you leave school,
You would be nothing but a wide - eyed fool
But your teacher who gave all they have to you,
So, to them let us say a big THANK YOU!!!!!
