CHILDREN'S CONTRIBUTIONS
An instrument of much use,
But not given due share,
Of fame and spotlight, yet
Without which, we'd all be in despair.
It's said that the pen,
Is mightier than the sword.
It can, like an eraser,
wipe out seeds of discord.
How, well that's quite simple,
Just write a note saying sorry,
You're ashamed of your behaviour,
And now you've realized your folly.
The thing with which these verses,
I have written today,
Is nothing other than a pen,
Which has a hold over all,
And can cause a fray.
So you see a pen,
As simple as could be,
Is a thing quite irreplaceable,
For both you and me.
