And with that the mother earth
Borne that sweet aroma of wetness.
I rushed to the courtyard
To have the silky touch of fresh drops.
The noise of gushing water-

Music for my ears
Early morning blossomed
Like a gorgeous landscape.
The small drops here and there,
Reflecting the colours of
Butterflies roaming by.
Oh rain! Wet the mother earth to her brim.
