CHILDREN'S CONTRIBUTIONS
Once in a cold rainy day
When all the kids had gone to play
And each and every tree and bird
Had lots of fun in their own world
My little sister sat beside
To ask me about the pouring sky
“Was it mother nature cry
To see the world all hot and dry
As all the greenish plants and trees
Had been cut down by human beasts
Or was it good almighty God’s
Gift to the world for he gave
Were killed by man”
I sat sometime to think ahead
Of what my sister thought and said
My eyes were filled with tears to hear
The fact she proved, it was sincere
And when I see a pouring rain
My eyes get filled with tears again.
