CHILDREN'S CONTRIBUTIONS
Fire people say frightens you
Still I agreed to be her friend
Though I knew
She burns too.
Burnt was my heart
My body, my being too
Still, she was my friend

And soothed me too
Stopped my breath and Compressed me too.
The strings, off my being
She held few
Though I thought something
I should do.
Memories, I love
But they prick me too
I tried to put her off
And lost her embers, too!
