STARS

Stars high in the sky
Twinkling as our eyes do.
Nice to see them so high up
I think, what are the stars made up of?
Is it gold, silver, bronze, ruby, emerald
Amber, turquoise or any other thing?
It cannot be counted,
thousands and thousands,
Millions & millions
“are you fooling us.” sometimes visible
Sometimes invisible, sometimes smiling
Sometimes mourning.
Small children crying out for getting the
Stars in their hand. But it is impossible!
It is so huge, so hot and so far away.
