Gottlieb Daimler, inventor of the car
The invention of the automobile engine in the middle of 19th century by a German engineer named Gottlieb Daimler led to the development of motor vehicles. The first car fitted with this engine looked like a horse drawn carriage without a horse. Gottlieb Daimler was born in the year 1884 in Germany. He worked hard and improved the internal combustion engine. He died in 1900, but before his death he paved the way for the development of motorcar. Today, millions of motor vehicles such as car, buses, trucks and vans are manufactured every year.
