In today’s stress filled world, people often talk about ‘finding time’ for fitness activities. I am sure most of you have a fixed time for your breakfast, school, homework, etc. Do you complete your homework only when you ‘find’ the time? What will happen to your school grades and your ambitions if you neglect your homework? In the same way, you can’t afford to neglect fitness activities. It is vital to your well-being, and all the more important if you want to make a mark in professional sport!
Get into the habit of noting in your daily schedule the time you plan to exercise. It takes less than half an hour a day to keep fit and healthy. If you are into serious sport, then you may have to spend a little more time on your training. Once you get into the habit of working out daily, it’s easy to keep going.
If possible, get a friend or two to workout with you. If you are responsible to someone, it becomes difficult to get off track. Soon you will start feeling the benefits of exercise in your daily life - including your studies. The discipline of working out daily and at a particular time itself will improve your life.
