Three hungry mosquitoes were in search of a meal of blood. One of them alighted on the arm of a sleeping man, drank her fill and flew away in 20 seconds; a little later the second mosquito alighted at almost the same spot, drank her fill and flew away in 30 seconds.
The third mosquito landed there immediately afterwards. She was there for about a minute but she did not drink any blood. Why?
Dimdima is the Sanskrit word for ‘drumbeat’. In olden days, victory in battle was heralded by the beat of drums or any important news to be conveyed to the people used to be accompanied with drumbeats.
