A factory inspector arrived at a production centre to test the quality of bulbs being made there. He selected 6 bulbs at random and tested them. None of them burnt for long. In fact, all of them flashed just once and went out.
A bad lot, you would say. But the inspector passed them all. Why?
Dimdima is the Sanskrit word for ‘drumbeat’. In olden days, victory in battle was heralded by the beat of drums or any important news to be conveyed to the people used to be accompanied with drumbeats.
