Online Children's Magazine from India
While staying at my uncle’s house I noticed that there were three clocks in the bedroom but they all showed different times. One showed 9:05, another 8:15 and the third 8:35.
When I asked my cousin who was brushing his teeth, the correct time, he shouted from the bathroom, “One of the clocks is 20 minutes fast, one is slow and one is wrong by 30 minutes.”
It did not take me long to work out the correct time. What was it?
Dimdima is the Sanskrit word for ‘drumbeat’. In olden days, victory in battle was heralded by the beat of drums or any important news to be conveyed to the people used to be accompanied with drumbeats.
