A driver whose car had no brakes was approaching a level crossing at 64 kph, while a train was approaching the same crossing also at 64 kph. The crossing was unmanned and had no barriers. The train was 90m long and it was 45m from the crossing. The car was less than 90m from the crossing. Neither car nor train stopped or changed direction or speed. But there was no collision. Why?
Dimdima is the Sanskrit word for ‘drumbeat’. In olden days, victory in battle was heralded by the beat of drums or any important news to be conveyed to the people used to be accompanied with drumbeats.
