I wound up two clocks at the same time. It so happened that one of the clocks lost two minutes each hour and the other gained one minute each
hour. When I looked at them again the faster one was exactly one hour ahead of the other. How long had the clocks been running?
Dimdima is the Sanskrit word for ‘drumbeat’. In olden days, victory in battle was heralded by the beat of drums or any important news to be conveyed to the people used to be accompanied with drumbeats.
