There is a beetle that looks like a miniature rhinoceros complete with a horn. The rhinoceros beetle is said to be the strongest creature in the insect world because it can carry approximately 850 times its own weight which is about 20 gms.
That would be like a man carrying 76 cars on his back. Even the elephant can only carry about 25% of its own weight.
The 1/2-cm-long horn enables the beetle to forage through the heavy litter on the jungle floor. It uses its horn to dig into the ground and bury itself deep when it senses danger. The male beetle also uses its horn to fight battles with other males. Only the males have a horn.
