• Bhanuprakash:- [ 3/27/2007 ] The mass of the earth is calculated as approximately 5.9742*10^24 kg. Weight of earth requires a gravitational constant and so weight can only be with respect to some other body say the sun. g for sun = 274.13 m/s^2. So weight of earth with respect to Sun is 6*10^24*274.13 = 1637.7*10^24
