CHILDREN'S CONTRIBUTIONS

KINDNESS ALWAYS WINS

By Dhruvi Mundra (VI A)

Once upon a time there was a girl named Rosa and a girl named Falon. Both were step-sisters. Their mother didn’t like Falon and treated her as a servant. Falon was sent to the jungle to fetch some raspberries. Trespassers were not allowed in the forest. The girl did not know that and went to the forest. There she did not know the way. She saw an old lady near a well. She asked her, "May I help you in carrying this water?" The woman allowed her to carry the water and keep it near the house. The woman told her you are such a kind girl. Why have you come here? I have come here to take some raspberries. Child I will give you some things which will help you in the forest. She gave her a key and a bottle. Falon continued her journey. On her way she saw a wizard running. He stopped when he saw the girl. He looked so thirsty so Falon gave her the bottle of water. In return he gave her a bag of gold which would never end. Then she saw a tower and opened it with the key. From that came a shabby boy. He asked Falon to ride with him on his pony. She sat and as they came out of the forest the shabby man changed into a prince and married Falon. Then they lived in a castle in the next city. She and the prince ruled the city of Azkaban. They lived happily ever after.
