RAIN

Finally, the day I didn’t want to come at all, dawned. I woke up on June 1st quite sad, as the long joyful holidays had come to an end. Mom had begun her usual tirade, getup, brush your teeth etc.. her list seemed endless. It is fine with her she just has to sit at home and tell, its me who has to go to school. But as I got dressed and came out of the house, I felt like jumping out of joy. It was raining heavily. I love rains. They make our surrounding look so clean, so beautiful. Everything look, so lush and fresh. My sadness seemed to disappear and I reached school happily. I love jumping and splashing in the puddles. After the long, hot summer, the rains felt so good. The pitter-patter sound of rain is so nice. Rains fill up rivers, help plants to grow, provides water to animals etc. Rain, rain come again.
