EARTH

The ocean swims and crashes
In such a wonderful might,
It’s clean and forceful beauty,
Could set your problems right.

If you take a glance
At the wonder that lies inside
A big and mighty ocean
Protecting you with pride

But what is this I see
You’re trashing it, I fear
You pollute its gorgeous waters
And leave it helpless here!

I breath in clean fresh air
Walking through the pretty woods
Between all the gorgeous trees
Pleased with God’s gracious goods.

Then what is this I hear
You are chopping all down
You are taking the earth’s wonderous smile
And making it a frown!

I wonder at another splendor,
The sunset and sunrise
The clear and gorgeous beauty
Of clean and freshened sky.

Then suddenly I see
A huge cloud of smoke,
The earth’s environment
Your cruel hands decide to choke.

This earth is dying slowly
Just take a look around
The beauty we once knew
Is nowhere to be found.

So take a stand with justice
And show them how it could be
As a home for you and me.
