SAVE WATER

By Ruchika Tiwari (VII C)

Big Blue Beautiful. That’s our planet. When viewed from outer space the earth resembles a blue marble and that is why its often called the Blue Planet. The vast ocean that covers 70% of the earth’s surface gives it its blue appearance. It is the presence of these oceans that makes our planet habitable. All living organisms depend on the living and non-living elements of the environment for survival. Without water, which is a non-living component of the environment, no living thing can exist. Water is a necessity for life. Infact water is the birthplace of life because it is there where the planet's first living thing was born. Life begn in the water millions of years ago and even today the water remains home to a majority of plants and animal from the smallest organism to the blue whale, the largest animal on earth. So guys, as citizens of the earth it is up to you to live an environmental friendly life and play an active role in preserving this important part of our precious earth. Save Water, Save Earth.
