FUN WITH NUMBERS

1. How many times number 25 can be subtracted from the number 100?
2. When does 2 and 2 make more than 2?
3. Find the sum of the numbers from 1 to 50 without adding them or using any formula.
4. How can you make a total of 1000 by using only sixteen 4’s?
5. Which Roman number when read either from left or right is the same and the value is not changed?

Answers:
1. Only once, because when 25 is subtracted from 100, the remainder is 75.
2. when they make 22.
3. The sum is 1275, you have to arrange them in pairs, 1 and 50, 2 and 49, so on. The sum of each pair will be 51 and there will be 25 pairs. Therefore 51*25=1275
