Walking along the riverbank was always a pleasure for Gary. He loved his stroll. Everyday he watched a small boy sitting at the roadside and staring at the sky in hope of a better life. One day Gary did not see him. Being anxious, Gary began to search for the boy. Soon he spotted a hut in one of the dark galleys that bordered the road. He followed him and from a distance saw the boy go inside the hut. In it lay an old woman and beside her sat the boy studying in candlelight. It was a sight to behold. His determination gave Gary a sudden source of inspiration. Gary himself was the son of a cobbler. He lost his mother at a tender age and his father was ailing. Inspite of his love for knowledge he was compelled to leave his studies and go around in search of a living. But now he decided that he would study with all his might so that his father could be proud of having a son like him. The little boy surely worked as a magic for Gary.
